Updated: August 12, 2024

We take a professional and serious approach to our compliance-related obligations, including with respect to customer onboarding, anti-money laundering, countering the financing of terrorism, anti-bribery and anti-corruption, sanctions screening, and fraud matters. Our compliance program has been designed to comply with applicable U.S. and global laws and regulations, as well as the laws and regulations of the countries where we operate. In order to support our compliance-related activities, we have partnered with leading companies in the global financial services industry with respect to digital identification verification, blockchain analytics, anti-fraud solutions, and compliance with the Financial Action Task Force’s (FATF) Travel Rule.

We also maintain a dedicated law enforcement team within our Compliance function, which is responsible for handling all financial-related customer complaints and related law enforcement requests, as well as investigating alleged criminal and fraudulent acts affecting our customers, responding to regulatory inquiries, and investigating alleged criminal or fraudulent behavior on the part of our employees. In addition, we have a dedicated customer service team operating 24/7, 365 days a year across Africa, and our Yellow Card Academy offers online and in-person training and educational digital assets literacy programs.
