Accra, Ghana - 5 June 2025 - Yellow Card, the leading licensed Stablecoin payments orchestrator for Africa and the emerging world, today issued a formal statement to clarify recent public claims made by Hanypay Ghana Ltd which inaccurately assert a business relationship or partnership with Yellow Card Financial Inc.

On 12 February 2025, Hanypay Ghana Ltd released a press release stating that Hanypay Ghana Ltd integrates with Yellow Card to advance financial inclusion across Africa. We hereby unequivocally state that HanyPay executed Yellow Card’s standard form Payments API agreement, not an agreement for any partnership or collaboration with respect to a new stablecoin or otherwise.

Yellow Card takes the integrity of its brand seriously. Any public statement suggesting a relationship that does not exist is misleading to the public, our partners, and our community.
